Online Card Classes Stretch Your Dies

Hi, I am taking the latest Online Card Classes class Stretch Your Dies - I have learned soooooo much!!! I am also having fun and doing some homework. I think shrinking fun foam has been my favorite technique so far.

This card was for Day 3 Simple Shapes. I did nothing special here except for having some watercolor fun with W Plus 9 Unforgettable stamp set!! The window is Memory Box Grand Madison Window.

I made this card for Day 5 Using Coordinating dies using the technique demonstrated by Dawn Woleslagle. I used Bold Blossoms from Essentials by Ellen!

This is the shinking foam from Day 1. I die cut the flowers using the Bold Blossoms stand alone set from Essentials by Ellen. I colored them with Copics and added Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents. The stem is from the Chloe die by Memory Box.

The box is from the coloring charts from the Copic Marker class. I had colored it ages ago trying to get close to that Tiffany blue with my copics. The diamond is a foam piece cut from Essentials by Ellen You Rock and shrunk to fit into the box. I covered it with silver Stickles and Glossy Accents. Unfortunately there is not enough sun still to capture the shine!!

Essentials by Ellen, Hero Arts and W Plus 9

I love the set Christmas Scribbles from Essentials by Ellen! I knew it could be used year round because of the tree bough and the tiny packages. The tiny packages are PERFECT for using with little critters or in this case a little girl from W Plus 9 Pick of the Litter! I colored the gifts and the little girl with Copic markers and added some white gel pen to her dress and socks for finishing touches. The greeting and wood floor are from Paper Trey Ink as it was tiny enough to work here. The background is my favorite Hero Arts background Envelope Liner. I stamped it in Tattered Rose Distress Ink and misted it with some water. I inked the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh!

I am still struggling with taking photos with winter light. This morning before work the sun was out a bit so I scurried around the house taking pictures of this card in natural light. Still not quite right but it was fun though I was late for work!!!

More Essentials by Ellen

For this card I also used the Bold Blossoms but I used the stand alone dies. I cut the medium leaf from water color paper that I had painted with Golden Fluid Acrylics. The smaller leaves were die cut from paper colored with Avery Elle pigment inks. The round center is from the Bokeh set by Essentials by Ellen. Sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.

Essentials By Ellen and Hero Arts

Hi, It has been quite a while since I have posted! I made this card for the challenge over at Ellen Hutson's Classroom - The Mix It Up Challenge. The challenge was to combine a Hero Arts product with an Essentials by Ellen product. I used Bold Blooms from Essentials by Ellen and the chevron is a cling stamp from Hero Arts/ Studio Calico SC331067. The sentiment is also Hero Arts from Sending Smiles. The inks I used are all from W Plus 9!
