A New IO Challenge: I'll Drink To That

Hi,
We have a new challenge over at the Impression Obsession blog - "I'll Drink to That"! Make a beverage related card with IO products and enter the challenge here. You will also find inspiration from other designers there as well.

For my card, I used the clear stamp Citrus Set by Nola Chandler. Way too much fun!!! I just wanted to make a wreath out of those lemons - perhaps because I am already working on some Christmas card designs yikes!!!

This is a square 5x5 card. The base is made from Simon Says Stamp Lemon card stock. The gingham panel is from Lawn Fawn - I love this pad and should buy a back-up. For the circle panel, I die cut a 4" circle using a nesting circle die set. I then inked it up with Impression Obsession's Lemon Hybrid Dye ink and my next to largest blender brush. Once that was finished I sprayed it with some Sheer Shimmer Mist!

Everything else was colored with Copics. For the lemons I used Y11, Y15, Y18 and BV00. For the white pith of the lemon I used E0000. For the leaves I used YG11, YG13, and YG17 with a smidge of R01 for some contrast. For the seeds I colored each in with my white gel pen. I finished it all off with a button bow - which took more time to make than the coloring did!!!!!! I need bow lessons.

Thanks for stopping by
and remember to head over to the IO blog to play along with us.
