KIndling Wood: Impression Obsession

Hi, We are exploring die cutting today over at the Impression Obsession blog. I love die cutting because it makes cards so easy to complete! Today I used the Olive Basket and Birch Trees and Branch together. I wanted to make a basket of kindling like we used to have by our wood stove when we lived in Upstate NY.

I die cut all the pieces from Neenah Solar White. I used Copic Sketch Markers to color the basket. You could use any medium to color this as it is so pretty. For the twigs I used my Life Changing Blender Brushes with Tea Bag and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxides to give them that birch tree look.
Then sentiment is from Warm My Heart and I heat embossed it with white heat embossing powder onto charcoal grey cardstock. Head over to the Impression Obsession Blog for more inspiration!

Happy Monday and thanks for stopping by;
Susan
