Today I am focusing on Halloween cards because there are several fantastic Halloween themed dies in this release. First up, I used Two Kitties, Spider Web Panel (my fav new die) and Boo! It was very easy to make. I used a piece of OLD orange patterened paper cut to an A2 panel. I die cut the largest Checkered Frame twice out of black card stock and layered them together to give this more dimension.
I then glued the Spider Web Panel to the orange card stock. I die cut the kitties out of black card stock with a bit of orange for their bows. The dies for the bows are included in the set.
For the die cut sentiment Boo - I die cut this twice from black card stock and adhered the layers together. I had to die cut this four times so I could have three plain O's. In the actual die the last O is embellished! I added some clear Wink of Stella and that was it!
I just had to use the Spider Web Panel again - just so cute and I am not a Halloween person. I used my Life Changing Blender next to largest brush to add Wilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot to an A2 sized panel of Neenah Solar White. I added some water droplets and quickly removed some color. I die cut the bat from black and grey card stock and gave him Googly eyes. I popped the ghost up with 3M foam tape. I heat embossed a Halloween sentiment using silver embossing powder. I added a few clear sequins and that was done.
So head on over to the blog. Tons of inspiration there. Also leave a comment here for a chance to win the $25 gift certificate.
