Impression Obsession Challenge: Autumn Colors

It is Fall and that means two things: beautiful colors from the changing leaves and raking. For this card I used Eucalyptus and Golden Autumn. We have a new challenge up at Impression Obsession: Fall Colors. You can find more inspiration from the design team at the IO Blog.

Using my MISTI I stamped the leaves with Versafine Onyx Black onto an A2 sized panel of Distress Water Color paper. I had previously used the ink smooshing technique to make the background. After stamping the image I fussy cut out half of the image.

On a panel of ivory card stock, I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black using my MISTI to get correct positioning. I needed to shift it left because I wanted the image on the rigth. I trimmed this main panel down to 4" x 5.5". I adhered the panel to an Ivory side folding notecard. I then mounted the main image with 3M Foam tape. I added a thin strip of black card stock to put three areas of black in the card.
