New Release Blog Hop

For my first card, I used Sweetheart Rose Pair and Hanging Lavender, both designed by Alessa Baker. Using my standard sized MISTI with the foam pad removed as both of these stamps are cling stamps. They stamp beautifully and only need to be stamped twice onto Neenah Solar White Super Smooth 80lbs. I used Memento Tuxedo Black as my ink for alcohol ink coloring. I did stamp out each image 3 times so that I would have wiggle room for mistakes or building a bigger bouquet.

For the coloring:
Reds: R0000, R00, R01,  R12, R20, R30, YR0000, R32, R35, R37 and R39 or R59 for the darkest reds.
Greens: G20, YG61, YG13, YG11
Purples: V01, V04, V06

I colored up all three of the Sweetheart Rose Pair that I had stamped. One bouquet I used light red colors to obtain a peach toned rose. Then I used my dark reds on the other two images. I did fussy cut each image. I cut off some of the leaves and also cut into the bouquets to get them to layer the way I wanted to. Once the bouquet was designed, I used Press N' Seal to pick it up. I adhered the pieces with either liquid adhesive or 3M foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment, Dear Old World, with my mini-Misti without the foam pad and used Versafine Onyx Black ink. I trimmed this panel to 3.75" x 4.75". I matted a medium toned pink onto this panel and mounted this onto an A2 sized card made from Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock.

This card started from a purging of my craft room. I found some old 12x12" Sticky Backed Canvas from Ranger. Unfortunately this only comes in a small role but I will link below. I grabbed my standard sized MISTI without the foam pad and stamped the background Shiplap in a brown ink - not sure what I used because I was so excited to find the canvas. I sprayed various sprays onto it and let it dry. I resprayed and stamped a few more times. To distress it further, I swiped white gesso onto it with a foam brush.

I used some of lavender I stamped from the first card and adhered 3 together. I popped up the whole bouquet onto the canvas panel using 3M Foam tape. I stamped the sentiment Easter Reminds with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment for a chance to win a gift certificate. I have linked to the new images above and the old stamps below. For some reason my linking service is not working. I apologize for the inconvenience.
