Release Day 2 Blog Hop

This card was a labor of love and a challenge that I gave myself. I used the new background stamp Bubbles to create the main panel. For some reason, I envisioned cheese when I saw this panel. In a future post, I will be using it to emulate the surface of the moon. The mice are from an older set called Merry Mouse Border.

Using my standard sized MISTI without the foam pad, I stamped the image with Impression Obsession Banana Hybrid ink onto Neenah Solar White Super Smooth 80lb card stock. I did have to stamp the image a few times in this light ink for me to be able to see it. While I colored this, I had an image of Swiss Cheese up on my phone.

For Copic markers: YR20, YR21, Y11, Y13, Y15, YR24, YR27, and Y17 with swipes of white gel pen.

This is one of my favorite cards from the release. The background was made using Fresh Flowers 1, 2 and 3 which were designed by my friend Jeanne Strieff. I need to use these for another type of card. I decided to use them as a background for a slimline card. I also used the girl from Love Girls by Lindsay Ostrom. The sentiment is from Slimline Type Writer sentiments. I just had a lot of fun making this. I used Impression Obsession Hybrid Inks: Deep Rose, Orchid, and Peony for stamping the Fresh Flowers  panel.

Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment in order to enter the giveaway;
