The Impression Obsession Designers are sharing their favorite projects from this month’s release today!

This set, Secret Garden, and Knit Together Sock Friends are my two favorites of this release. If life hadn't happened here at home, I would have made more cards using these sets. However, I cannot get in my craft room right now. We have many family members here and yes, every non-essential piece of clutter is in my room. I hope to get a minute to get back in there today and make another card with these sets.

For this card, I needed to be fast. I found an older paper pad by Modascrap. I stitched the blue paper and green paper together onto a piece of 80lb Neenah Solar White.  Using my MISTI, I stamped all the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I quickly colored in the couch with B95, B97, B99 and added texture with a cloth moistened with colorless blender. The pillow was so much. I used my MISTI to add the sentiment "Love" to the pillow.  I then colored in the various planters in this set and popped everything on the panel. Tied on some twine and matted the card on a navy card stock. It was really easy.

  4. Oh my goodness, this just makes me want to sink down into that couch and pillow and read a good book. The texture added with your blender technique is something I need to try sometime because I love the effect.

  6. Oh boy... this is such a warm, comfy, soft, nice card. I love the cloth look tip for the couch, genius! Geez, this is prettier with you being run outta your room than what I get after days of planning and no interruptions. I think I understood you stitched the cardstock together, I love that! The inside gets pretty too. Thanks!
