Welcome to the Impression Obsession March 2022 Release Celebration!

I just adore the Circle of Life and Day Dream Believer stamps by Lindsay Anstrom and they are so appropriate for what is going on in the news today. Using my MISTI with the foam pad removed and sticky mat in place, I stamped this image and the Day Dream Believer below with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used Sandy Allnock's The Human Rainbow for deciding on which colors to use for the skin and hair. After I had colored both images, I wanted to add a background. For the Circle of Life, I used YR30 and 31 and I used rainbow ordered colors to color in the circles. I topped off the heart with Glossy Accents. 

For Day Dream Believer, I colored in the open lettering with rainbow colors and added a soft blue highlight around her by using B000, B00, and B01.

For both cards, I trimmed the colored panels to 4" x 5.25". I also trimmed a black panel to 4.125" x 5.350" for the Circle of Life card. I used foam adhesive to mount each colored panel to a card or to a black mat. Both cards were super easy to make and I had a lot of fun coloring the images. Actually, the coloring was very relaxing!
