For my card today, I used the two larger wood plank dies. I die cut them out of Neenah Solar White 110lb card stock. To color them, I used Distress Oxide Pumice Stone, Black Soot, Frayed Burlap and Antique Linen with my blender brushes. I cut another piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb card stock to 4" x 5.25" and adhered my distressed planks to the panel with liquid adhesive.

I chose this sentiment because we are helping to support a family who is fostering children. It takes tremendous love and bravery to love someone else's child especially when that child is expected to return to his or her parents. So I made this for the father in this family.

I stamped it onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb card stock with Versafine Onyx Black. As this sentiment is a cling stamp, I removed the foam pad from my MISTI and just used the sticky pad alone. Rubber stamps always stamp so beautifully. I then double matted the sentiment on Neenah Desert Storm card stock and a very dark chocolate.

  9. "A Real Man" stamp is something that needs to be said more often for both parents who marry someone with children. Making the expression the focal point of your card is all that is needed.
