Hello and welcome to my blog. I am here today for Impression Obsession. In a previous post I told you that there was a site wide sale 20% off with code 2022. Also April 30th is the last chance to order rubber stamps and stamps and dies on clearance. Today we are focusing on our retiring dies. You can find more inspiration on the Impression Obsession blog.
For this set of cards, I used 3 different coverplates: Chevron Adapt-A-Background, Bead Adapt-A-Background and Lacy Hearts. To make this easy on myself I stuck to one set of colors: pool and reds. I was as per usual in a hurry as I have been traveling a lot over this last two weeks. During times like this I enjoy pulling cards together quickly.
First, I die cut each background from the pool colored paper and glued that to a top folding A2 notecard. I then die cut the smaller Butterflies Die from some red gingham paper and vellum. Then I die cut the red heart from our Primitive Heart Dies which are not on clearance. I just love them and had to use one here. I added that to the Lacy Heart panel. I also die cut Butterfly 3 from red cardstock and adhered that to the chevron panel.
Onto the primitive heart, I white heat embossed a sentiment from the retiring set Home Is Where. For the other two cards, I used sentiments from Everyday Quotes 1. I adore this set and Everyday Quotes 2. They are quaint and quirky and truthful. Love these sets.
